01

Open the decision.

Read the question and why it needs you. Select “Review & choose” to see the options.

02

Choose what happens next.

Pick an option and add a note if you want. Back keeps your draft.

03

Check the confirmation.

“Saved” confirms your choice. Delivery to a helper is a separate update.

02 · YOU’RE NOT THE ONLY ONE

You’re the only
thread holding
it all together.

One chat has an update. Another has a question. A third changed the plan. Work is still running elsewhere.

Every time you come back, you piece it together again.

You’re not the only one.

04 · WHERE AM I?

YOUR PROJECT, IN PLAIN ENGLISH

Open Compass.
Pick up where
you left off.

This screen helps you get your bearings. Read what changed and what needs you, then open the next decision.

  • A project name when it’s known, and a clear note when it isn’t.
  • Source apps and dated updates, so you know where the context came from.
  • Checked results kept separate from what a helper reported.

05 · YOUR DIRECTION STAYS VISIBLE

SAME PROJECT. SAME DIRECTION.

Your decision.
You keep it.

A new suggestion shouldn’t quietly replace what you already decided. Keep your direction visible, with the context behind it.

You can change your mind. Compass should help you understand what changes with it.

Example projectLOCAL EXAMPLE

Keep the agreed direction?

This screen reminds you what you already agreed, so a new suggestion doesn’t quietly change the plan.

Focus on the current goal before adding new work.

Try a choice: keep the plan, or explore a change. This only updates the example.

06 · WHAT DO I SAY NEXT?

A CLEAR NEXT INSTRUCTION

Know what
to say next.

Understand the next step before you ask a helper to do it. Review the proposed instruction, adjust it, then continue in the right conversation.

  • Keep your project and intended outcome in view.
  • See what the next instruction asks the helper to do.
  • Keep your words. Stay in charge of sending.

This is an interactive example of the review flow, not a connection to your chats.

09 · YOU MAKE THE CALL

It helps you decide.
You stay in charge.

Your direction matters.

Consequential choices stay yours. A suggestion is something to consider, never an answer made on your behalf.

Know what it can see.

Compass uses the supported chats, project files and screen context you connect. If something can’t be read or checked, Compass should say so.

Progress you can trust.

Built, checked, installed and observed working mean different things. A helper saying “done” isn’t the whole story.

Understand the data path.

Everything Compass keeps stays on your Mac. Parts of connected chats go to the AI service you chose, using your own key, when you ask for help and for short reply summaries if those are enabled. Optional background checks use Jev only if you switch them on. Nothing goes to Compass’s maker.

A few good questions.

Is Compass ready to download?

Compass is in development and being tested on Mac. The guided home shown here is a design preview, not a promise that every screen is released.

Does this page connect to my chats?

No. Every project, question, draft and answer on this page is a local example. Trying a demo doesn’t access your apps, copy to your clipboard or contact a helper.

Does Compass send replies automatically?

No. Compass does not decide to send a reply for you. You press the button to submit an answer or send a message. A prepared draft, a saved answer and confirmed delivery are different states.

Do I need to understand code?

No. The aim is to make the project, its current position and your next decision understandable in plain language. Technical evidence remains available when you want it.
